There are many who consider runway fashion an art form rather than a suggestion of what you should actually wear. And sometimes, we really hope that’s the intent. As a concept, Giles Deacon’s Fall 2007 knitwear is fabulous. Knit with dyed wool top from Wingham Wool Work using broomstick-sized needles, each piece must weigh as much as the sheep it came from. Can you imagine wearing one of these sweaters? A scarf might be nice and cuddly though. And a really quick knit, if you’ve got a couple of brooms you can maneuver.
