column: Bloggy Bits – Soulemama

One of the best things about blogs is the sense of community they create. No matter where you are in the world, finding someone that shares an interest with you is wonderful and can take you to places never before imagined.
Such is the case with Amanda of soulemama. What started with wanting to share in the online craft community almost three years ago, has gone far beyond her expectations.

When clicking the link to her blog, it is not hard to see why. Between her photos, text, and projects, Amanda’s fresh take on ‘vintage’, her strive for simplicity, and her earthmama-ness, it is hard to not be inspired.

If that is not enough inspiration, or if you crave more, she has a book coming out in April 2008 and is in the process of writing book two!
Go check her out! I think you will become as grateful for her contributions as I have.
Emily crafts, reads, and chases after her four little monkeys with her husband in northern NY. She has a thing for faeries and vampires (literary and filmed), and dreams of one day having land with horses, alpacas, and sheep. Until then, she will resort to petting the skeins in her bulging stash. You may find her at her blog or e-mail her at merwenna@limenviolet.com.
