Advent Calendar: December 18

Cold feet stay warm in thick felted slippers. I make several pairs of these throughout the year and give them as gifts to family members. If you haven’t gotten a jump on your holiday knitting and need to whip up a gift, these babies knit up in a hurry and felting hides any imperfections. The best part? They’re always well-received.

I just made these and I’d have them on my feets 24/7 if they’d fit into my office heels!!! they are super fun! A very quick knit. My picture is terrible but until I get better lighting, this will have to do (http://glassneedlearts.blogspot.com/2007/12/feets-warmers.html). I’m wondering would they be even thicker and warmer if you doubled the yarn? thoughts? ideas?

EVERYONE is getting these for Christmas. I have made about 5 pairs. Well, not exactly. Everyone will get at least one slipper. I will finish the others over the holiday.

Cross fingers that they all felt as they should. I have done test swatches, but it is still nerve wrecking.
