Advent Calendar: December 7, 8, & 9

So you know how sometimes, around the holidays you get really busy and forget to open your advent calendar for a couple days? Well that was me for the last few days. The good thing about forgetting to open your advent calendar is that when you remember again you get several chocolates, or in our case, patterns, all at once.

On December 7 the calendar gives us fruit!

There’s a lemon and a lime here, but there are also patterns for a pear, two apples, a peach, and a banana. I know a few teenagers who, for some reason, like cute fruit like these guys, and these patterns mean presents for all of them.

December 8 reveals the Buckingham Scarf.

My sources (Adminnie) tell me that this lace pattern is easy to memorize and a Harry Potter Movie Marathon will allow you to get a chunk of it done.

December 9 (today) is my favorite mitten pattern, warmest mittens.

These are my basic mitten “recipe”, they are really basic ,and warm, and I like how they look, and mittens are almost always welcome (I know I need a pair right now).
