Thanks for this post Peachy; I also just discovered the two socks on One Circular needle. The technique can be found in the book 2-At- A Time Socks by Melissa Morgan Oaks.

I will have to check the book out. What is unique about my method is that you never have to re-arrange the stitches. That was the thing that really bugged me about every pattern I have seen so far! I knew there must be a better way. I make a lot of socks and there aren’t enough hours in the day to do extra fiddling lol
