Sam on Vacation

I’m off tomorrow morning for some quality time on the Oregon Coast with hubby. The kids will be with Nana and Papa (you rock mom & dad!). I will be walking on the beach (in the rain), sitting in front of the fire with my knitting, reading a book, and drinking wine. I will not be writing any columns or checking my email.
Keep you fingers crossed that this stuff goes away or my walks will be short.
My backyard an hour ago (in Seattle).

Amen to that. I am headed to Portland myself, and hope that it’s not snowing, either! I thought this was late March, not January!

As long as we can get to the room, the yarn and the wine, I’m good. I’ll be happy to watch the ocean from by the fire.
Plus, I’m a Northwesterner born and raised, I have plenty of gortex and coffee.
