Eclipse Socks by Shiny Knits

If you’ve been on another planet, you may not realize that Breaking Dawn, the final book in the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer, comes out today.  But you don’t have to be a Twilight fan to love the Eclipse Socks (Ravelry link here) by Shiny Knits.  The socks are knit cuff down with an afterthought heel.  Gorgeous in red and black.  After the socks are knit, you can add the “ribbon” detail on the front with duplicate stitch.  The pattern includes additional charts with Twilight character names.  I know which character name I’d add to my socks.  Who are your favorites?

Excellent socks! I’ve been reading the series and enjoying them so much, I think I’ll have to make these now.

Me, too, Minnie. I think it’s the black hair and dark eyes. And his sweetness.

I’m halfway through Twilight, under a directive from one of my best friends who loves this series. Methinks this will be a nice giftie under the tree for her at Christmas… thanks for posting!
