Doctors Without Borders from The Unique Sheep

One of the reasons I love knitting is that knitters are amazing people.  Knitters give of themselves in fiber as well as in time and money.  The Doctors Without Borders sock pattern from The Unique Sheep is a great example.  The Unique Sheep will donate 50% of the profits from the sale of the Doctors Without Borders pattern and yarn to this organization.  Doctors Without Borders is a medical humanitarian organization which provides care for people around the world.  It not only provides medical care but reports violence and conflicts that are often ignored by the rest of the world.  Knitting beautiful socks and helping others, I can’t think of a better combination.

I think this is wonderful! I can’t knit, but I can crochet. Is crocheting included in this project? Somewhere I have a conversion chart that converts knit stitches to crochet stitches and vice versa!
