Ribbons of Hope Scarf from the Unique Sheep

As you probably know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.   It’s not just a month to remember to take care of ourselves through self exams and mammograms; it is also a time to support the search for a cure.  To that end, the Unique Sheep is offering the Ribbons of Hope pattern designed by Laura Lough.  One hundred percent of the sales of this scarf pattern will go to Susan G. Komen For the Cure.

If the scarf pattern isn’t for you, the Unique Sheep also has two new colors:  Hope and Strength.  Fifty percent of the sales of yarn and fiber in these colorways will be donated to Susan G. Komen For the Cure.  Hope (pictured below) is a soft pink with hints of yellow, magenta, and light purple.  Strength is a set of four skeins dyed from a dark pink to purple to titanium.  So take care of yourselves, and share a little hope and strength with others.
