A sweater as a quick holiday knit? Well, when that sweater is actually a vest knitted at 3 stitches to the inch, it suddenly seems quite possible.
Less than 500 yards of a super bulky yarn and a great charted heart motif make Heartening by amblinglia a welcome extra layer of warmth. The pattern calls for RYC Soft Tweed, but any other lofty yarn with a gauge of about 12 st/4″ will work. The row of eyelets above the ribbed waist even allows for the addition of a pretty ribbon.
