Jennifer Marsh, a third-year Syracuse University graduate student pursuing her master’s degree in fine arts, invites fiber enthusiasts from around the world to express their concerns about their countries extreme dependency on oil for energy. Jennifer plans to blanket an abandoned gas station with a giant fitted blanket made up of 800 individual panels crocheted, knit, quilted or stitched by people from around the world. And she wants your help!

Submissions are not due until March 15th, 2008. Check out the International Fiber Collective website and find out how to participate!
